This house was cozy and old fashioned and homey. Everything we needed to make a meal and stay in was available. The host greeted us and was so welcoming. The view of the mountains around, covered in snow, was beautiful. They even put around a few decorations, as it was Christmas! We walked from the train station, and even in the dark in the cold, it was about about 10 minutes.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed by 2 bottles of wine and local beer. The place is just 25 min drive to Lake Constance (25 min to Rorschach, 1 hour to Germany and less than 1 hour to Austria). There are wonderful places around (Mount Säntis and a nice old town Appenzell). The price is quite reasonable.
