The house is huge and the gardens are special. The owner is super kind and friendly. He makes such a wonderful breakfast and truly cares about his guests. The welcome drink was so fresh too. Comfortable rooms and everything was clean. We recommend staying in Abu Simbel to see the sunrise and beat the crowds. Was a highlight of our trip. Good location, quick walk to town and to the Temple.

Rooms were very clean but owner should try to clean the kitchen and dishes a bit better and improve bathroom (specially floors) if possible. Short walk to the Nubian Museum. Despite the surrounding area is quite unclean, with trash along the street, I felt safe walking alone and people were polite.

I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.
