Our experience with the host was the highlight of the trip. He made sure to meet our every need and each request momentarily without delay. He called to check up on us and ensured that our stay was progressing smoothly.

My family liked the Glasshouse Villa so much. I was searching for a small villa with private pool, in a quiet safe location and suitable for both kids and elderly. The glasshouse was the perfect place for us. Dr Yusuf was very patient and tried his best to do everything to make us comfortable and enjoying our stay. We really appreciate his effort. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back again this summer or in our next visit to Egypt.

Located in Giza and not far from the pyramids the house is large and comfortable with four spacious bedrooms and a huge lounge and dining area and is well equipped. Best of all is the lovely garden and pool and although it was a bit chilly when we visited in January you can imagine how lovely it would be to spend the warm evenings here. But although the house is lovely the real star of the show for us was the people. The owner Mohamed was there to meet us when we arrived, speaks English better than I do (!) and was a great help offering everything from food delivery to buying train tickets. He responds immediately to Whats app and helped us arrange everything including a really lovely taxi driver called Sukar who took us everywhere with consumate skill which is quite an art in the mad traffic of Cairo and an amazing guide in Said who is an Eqyptologist and a fountain of knowledge about everything Eqyptian and who takes a commendable pride in his country both ancient and current. His enthusiasm made our trips to the pyramids and the museum much more enjoyable and if he is available when you are there you will enjoy his company. All in all a great location for a stay in Cairo and people who will maximise your enjoyment of this amazing city
