The accommodation was very well equipped and they even offer extra equipment such as slow cookers. It's quiet and in a beautiful location. They called us the week before to make sure we brought everything we needed with us as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away in Oban. We also booked massages for our last day - highly recommended! I would recommend Melfort Village for a quiet, secluded, self catering break.

It was at the end of the road, nestled amongst trees with views across fields, the loch and mountains. There were walks in all directions that were full of trees, animals, scenery, The property was very well appointed. Very clean. Comfortable bed. TV and DVD (with a huge selection) for any wet evenings. Excellent kitchen facilities. Lovely shower/bathroom. We came for a romantic anniversary visit and we were not disappointed. We will be back.

Cosy and warm, far enough from the hustle and bustle of a busy town but close enough for you to walk into(Oban). There’s a really good bar right in the middle of the site where a few of the locals seemed to go. Everyone friendly and nice. Katie is on hand to help you with anything you need
