The hosts were always available with warm smiles and readiness to serve us warm delicious meals. We were well fed throughout the day with lunch on arrival, a delicious dinner and snacks in between. The breakfast was amazing the morning after. The hosts serve authentic Bengali cuisine throughout the day and our group was diverse in terms of age and cultural backgrounds which made the experience even more wholesome as we could appreciate both the nature at the property as well as the gastronomic delights. Last but not the least, the property belongs to an eminent Bengali economist which makes it a very prestigious stay in the Bengali cultural capital. We stayed there during the winter festival week and made use of the local transport to enjoy the local cultural shows and did a lot of shopping. The house is located at the heart of Shantiniketan which allowed us to access the main attractions with ease. We could also enjoy the garden at the property with a lot of joy and made a lot of photos and memories to look back at.

It's a mind blowing stay for us, at 1st we are lil bit tensed about the property owner but when we reached there bhaiya and bhabis hospitality is soo good that we didn't expect it. They are very good person with well behaved. The atmosphere of the homestay is like a own house. The Mt. Kanchenjunga view is awesome from their property. We had watched it from our bed room easily. Very very pleasent stay. And the food was also very good . The homestay is in a good location, which is outskirt from the darjeeling mall or chawk market which I had liked very much because of not having chaos. It's a very very good homestay. This is a fantastic Villa. They have all the amenities that we looked for during our stay. The rooms are very cozy and well maintained and offered a premium feel. The bathrooms and shower are phenomenal. The outside garden was quite big and very well maintained, the entire family spent a great evening there, and a special thanks to the owners for offering badminton and cricket equipment. The caretaker was polite and very helpful and got us everything that we ordered. Overall a great experience!!
