Situated in Seyðisfjörður and only 4.1 km from Gufufoss, Botnahlid Villa, Mountain and Town views and outdoor Sauna features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing location. Hilmir was an amazing host. We had some questions and he came within minutes to help us. Property's location is amazing and the drive to the property is even better. We enjoyed the sauna as well. We were travelling in a group of 7 including kids and each one of us wanted to stay for longer.

These holiday homes all offer a private terrace with barbecue facilities, in addition to a well-equipped kitchenette with free coffee and tea. Egilsstadir town centre is a 8-minute drive away. The property was easy to find, and is very well located for day trips around Egilsstaðir. The house was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. There was a washing machine as well, which was very handy. The beds were comfortable. The area was very quiet, a bit outside of Egilsstaðir, but very quick to drive there. From the open area where the cottages are, there is a short path to a jacuzzi (which was spotless) and there is also a sauna. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Ekra Cottages is set in Lagarfljótsvirkjun. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The tour desk is available to assist guests in planning their days out. We can't say enough about the cottage. We stayed for 4 nights, but would love to have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet with a stunning view. The cabin itself was spacious compared to the many other cabins we have stayed in, and it was meticulously clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a grill that was easy to use. The beds were comfortable, and the bedroom had blackout shades, which are important during the summer months. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Cottage in the middle of nowhere, nice connection to nature all around, peace and quiet (apart from the elements, mainly wind). Extremely good views and good chances to see the northern lights when the sky is clear! Well equipped, quite clean but a bit older in terms of furniture. Very nicely decorated though, cozy and very warm inside. Hot tubs are the icing on the cake! Perfect getaway from touristy locations on iceland.
