The bungalow is located in a very nice and quiet area. The bungalow is surrounded by trees. It is spacious and clean. When youre here by car ot motorbike you can reach the attractions of aso area in no time. The manager was very friendly. There is also a great restaurant in 15 minutes walking distance.

We drove by the cottage the first time and stopped about 100 meters ahead. Then we were approached by some local people, one of which was the owners mother. They were super friendly and she guided us to the correct location. There was a nice big spot to park our car directly in front of the cottage. We had diner at the table outside and enjoyed the night sky. From here you have great views of mount Aso and also the surrounding edges of the caldera. Great experience and one of our best rural stays in Japan. Thanks to the owner and his mother for their hospitality and kindness!

It was a cute little cabin amongst other cabins on the land. Picture instructions were very helpful when figuring out how to locate the cabin. It was easy to do the self check-in and get ourselves inside. They had binder instructions once inside (in both Japanese and English) and that was all very helpful. Th kitchenette, room, dining area, and bathroom were all very spacious for us two. They also had a cute outside patio area and table for two if you want to hang outside among nature. We wished we used it but it was raining that day. Definitely further away from everything, but we got a lot of supplies before we got to the cabin. Would definitely stay here again. Location was really nice and peaceful among nature.

The location was beautiful - the windows overlooked rice fields and a forested areas. We were able to enjoy nature without having any creepy crawlies enter the property. The house was spotless and the furniture and equipment looked very new. The house had pretty much all the basic amenities we expected and we had a very comfortable 1-week stay, cooking lots of meals from the kitchen in the property. We also loved that there was a BBQ pit embedded in a table right on our own porch. We had many barbecues during our stay because it was lovely to grill our meats while enjoying the early summer weather in the evenings. The property owners were also responsive and helped us with the queries we had very quickly over Booking.com messaging. The shower and bath were very clean and new. We enjoyed hot baths using the tub which filled automatically. All in all, we were very sad to leave! We loved how quiet and close to nature the house was and loved the beautiful views of the area. We were also able to use the property as a base to visit Mt Aso for hiking and make day trips to Takachiho Gorge. We would love to stay again at this property.
