I liked this hotel very much, on arrival it was a little out of the way from Shizuoka city. but the staff was very warm and friendly and helped us with our luggage and check in process was smooth. The room was huge and we loved the separate eating area and rooms. the projector was a nice touch and kept our family entertained. The bathtub was huge and we loved that we could open the door so it was not too stuffy. The wooden tub is a nice touch. Breakfast was amazing and well thought of with all the local dishes and everything was prepared in the room. Overall a wonderful stay with a peaceful and beautiful location!

We were all amazed by this place. Both the grown ups and the nine-year-old agreed we would have liked to spend our whole holiday here if we could. Two nights was not enough for this fairy tale. Fantastic service, amazing rooms surrounded by wonderful nature, great view and lovely terraces. The lovely host provided a hot pizza oven and home-made pizza dough for us to make pizza on the terrace. A wonderful experience. A warm table grill was equally nice the next night. The host was much more helpful and accommodating than could be expected. And sent us off with lots of great tips that even made the rest of our journey better.

The area is secluded (quiet) but can be easily reached via car or bus if commuting. The house is newly renovated and it’s a traditional japanese home. The property is complete with necessities and there is a nearby convenience store in case you forgot any. Our hosts are the best, they are very kind and sweet. We had a great dinner with them and had a good laugh. It was the best stay we ever had!

The host greeted us at the door and showed us around explaining the house in detail. The place is super clean and we had a relaxing stay at the property. Everything you see in the picture matches in reality. The view is amazing overlooking Mount Fuji while enjoying the private onsen. The place is away from the crowd yet closely connected to the surrounding areas. My whole family enjoyed our stay there every minute. Highly recommend.

Obviously the view, sunset and the „middle of nowhere“ feeling paired with the sounds of the ocean and nature are truly magical, but the house is also well thought out with so many small details and touches that make you feel right at home and very welcomed by the hosts. The beds are super comfortable as well, the view while taking a bath is incredible and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals. All the different house plants also make the place feel very alive and in touch with the surrounding nature. Returning from a hike on our second day we felt like coming home , even though we had just arrived. I hope this place never changes, will definitely come back ! Thank you so much!
