We were picked up and brought back to the ferry marina for free. The house is very close by the marina, so it is also walkable. There's a supermarket right in front of the house and the Mount Pahia hike starts very close to the house too. Just opposite of the fire-fighters. Make sure you go for the hike early in the morning with enough water. We did the hike by ourselves twice, as the fist time was foggy on the top. The second time the view was splendid.

The property is non-smoking and is situated a few steps from Matira Beach. The location is superb, 10 metres from the water. It is described as a bungalow but read large shed with patio doors. Inside there is a large, brand new bed which is really comfortable and a nice bathroom. The kitchen area is very small but functional. Also most importantly there is air conditioning. Outside there is a lovely large deck with a huge bench and bar table and chairs. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down.

This is a wonderful place for a family (we are 2 adults and 2 kids), the host is very welcoming, she went above and beyond to find us a tour for the very next day, she let us in before the check in time because the apartment was available. Everything was clean and comfy. A/C, laundry inside the unit. Bikes and canoes available. Direct access to the lagoon across the street. Everything was perfect.
