Loved our experiences at Fare Vahine Oviri - from the awesome welcome from Johnny and family, the 4 hour tour of the island with Johnny (the pilgrimage to Taputapuatea being the absolute highlight), snorkeling in the lagoon and even a meal with the family. The Fare is comfortable and well provisioned for self-catering. This delightful place is one of the best kept secrets in the whole Pacific.

Very nice house, in a good location right on a beach. Kayaks provided to use to get to edge of reef for some really good snorkeling. Close to Taputaputea and other good walks that we really enjoyed. Great that it came with a car as Raiatea is a big island. We normally have hired scooters on other islands but a car was good to have on Raiatea.

The included breakfast of French pastries and tropical fruits was excellent.

Jeff and Tepairu were the most amazing hosts, this accomodation is situated in a beautiful lagoon that we were lucky enough to swim in every night and every morning. Beautiful amenities, an easy six minute bike ride to the local store to fill up on essentials.

It was wonderful to have our own private beach and entrance to the water. The family that helps on the property was also super nice and extremely accommodating to anything we needed.
