There is an old New Zealand aesthetic to Stratford which makes the atmosphere really enjoyable. The apartment was clean, staff were respectful, facilities were well equipped (tv, cleaning liquid, towels), close to local shops in Stratford and the Egmont National park. The attention to detail in the room, comfy bed with lots of fluffy pillows, excellent choice of toiletries and a very generous breakfast to name but a few - care has been taken in providing everything you could need and more. The owner is extreemly nice, we were welcomed with 2 hot maffines for our 5 o'clock coffee and when asked, she kindly offered us to wash our laundary using her washing machine.
